To be honest after his performance in the game today he can go, if he doesn't have the heart to stay stuff him

Larsson looked as though he didnt want to be there today, he had a right face on him throughout the game...

Also i was watching an interview with DS on SSN thismorning and it showed the players getting ready for the squad photo, Larsson looked really moody there aswell!

Sick of Larsson now. Sulking around the pitch all match and not shaking Camerons hand properly when subbed. Get as much as we can for him and get rid. He's just a free kick taker at the end of the day. Get a pacey winger in instead. :redcard:

1 Below Average game and you all turn on him?

Give him a chance, he's still one of our best players.

Nothing to do with one bad performance. It's to do with the fact that he doesn't want to play for us and we can't afford to have players sulking around the pitch instead of getting on with it and giving 100%

Sorry, i will back a player whilst he is faithful to the club and plays as hard as he can, but his attitude today was just bad, like its been said, hes just a free kick taker (yes a very good one, but Mcfadden had some good ones) and now hes actually said he wants to go, let him, i dont want a player who doesn't try his hardest each and every game playing for us, question is, who will we replace him with? Quincy? Augustien? Someone new?

On a different note, it was good to see Mcfadden playing well, he may not have had many shots on target, but he seemed to be putting his heart into the game and was a level above most players =]

He should not be sold. Maybe he just had a bad game. If he continues to have bad games then he should be dropped for a spell in the reserves.

thats why sully and gold might be right when they say we can not keep unhappy players!

Sully said today on the match build up on Sky that only an offer of £15-18m will be enough to sign either Larsson or McFadden

Don't think either are worth than much or that anyone would pay that.

But if he hands in a transfer request, I don't suppose there's much that we can do.

Would be a shame to see him leave but I guess if he doesn't want to be here, then we just got to wish him all the best and take as much money as poss as soon as poss.

he doesn't have his heart in the game, thats why it was a bad performance... hes going the be the Ronaldo of the Championship... not in terms of his performance, but just that he wants to go but the team and manager wants him to stay... what to do... i hope he will buck up his ideas but its disturbing that the new contract doesn't tempt him at all. Think he will go to Blackburn seen as they have sold Bently

Well why has he left until now to say this?? If he wanted to go we could have weighed up proper offers for him and bought in a replacement.

It was'nt his worst perfomance today, he does drift in and out of games, it's the first game of the season. I would'nt take today into account too much.

One bad game.
He's not the most outgoing player on the field is he?
He's not all smiles and joy at the best of times. He's bound to look like that if he's not playing well.
If he wants a move, he's going to have to show other managers that he's good enough.
If he did not want to play he would not have midned being subbed.
He's a quality player (alhtough I think some have put him on too high a pedestal).
We will be a better team if he stays and gets back to form.
Sullivan would love to read this thread. He'd think it was ok to let him go now as the fans are stupid enough to beleive that he is no good anymore. Rediculous.

If he dont want to be here sell him to the highest bidder and hold out for the most money if other teams dont want to pay big money let him rot in the reserves.

Personally IF that report is true i dont want to see him in a Blues shirt again.

No way is he worth £15m.

I dont want us to sell him, and he should realise what this clubs done for him really from taking him from Arsenal reserves, where he was never going to make it, and helped him become a very good player for us, aswell as breaking into the Sweden squad.

If he wanted to leave, why not keep quiet and try and do it privately? Or show some loyalty and stay until January before assessing the situation!

Nothing hacks me off more than players who pull this kind of stunt - we rescue him from Arsenals reserves, turn him into a decent player and now he's too good for Blues. Larsson was in the team that got relegated and shares both the blame and the responsibility to set this right.

£5m? I wouldn't sell him for £50m - he can rot on the bench for the next three years until his attitude changes. we don't need the money and it's about time that someone stood up to these big time charleys. Let's see how many other some people we'd see in the UK if the option was 'play for your contract or rot in the reserves'. Time to teach Seb a little humility if this is the attitude he has to the people who gave him back his career.

W&&&er.

to be honest i think that because larsson has had one bad game everyone has turned against him, everyone has bad games and its a new team that the players are playing in, the team has to learn to gel first, then after that people should give strong opions on a player of larssons calibre

Let him look at the true pros in the side, Carsley, Phillips, Nafti, Mcfadden all who are better players who want to be here,

if he actually said that to SportBladet, then I'm very very disappointed in him.

Get an offer of £6m plus and we should sell.

It's a shame because he's my favourite player from the last two seasons.

If he's not going to pull his weight and wants to leave - then let him on our terms.

Wow. Just wow. Nothing like a knee-jerk reaction is there?

Sure it wasn't his best game in a blue shirt, but he was being doubled up on throughout and sometimes it just doesn't happen for a player. Some of the comments here are just unbelievable.

Did people watch another seb today or just looking at somthing thats not there? he didnt have the best of games but i wouldnt criticise his attitude, i dont think his the type of person who is just going to strop around till he goes, he will give is all if only to get a transfer, he'll still be here untill at least january.

I agree, give him a chance, ok he had a poor performace today, but who does have the odd game??

Untill larsson come's out in public and tells us himself that he wants to go, ignore all the rumours.
